*UPDATED* NOTICE TO PATIENTS REGARDING COVID-19

Writer: Georgian Sports Medicine and PhysiotherapyGeorgian Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy

Updated: Mar 29, 2020

Dear past, current, and future Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy and Chiropractic clients of Georgian Sport Medicine and Physiotherapy,

Today marks a day in our clinic's history. We have joined our local community and have decided to close our doors to ensure the health and safety of our staff, our families, our clients, and our community, to help flatten the curve. We feel this drastic measure is required at this time. We apologize for the disruption in your treatment and encourage you to read below to find out ways you can stay connected with us to manage your symptoms/condition during this time.

Unfortunately, this is EXACTLY what happens in the nightmare on entrepreneur street, and in the healthcare field. We hope we are prepared, we hope we can make a difference in our community, and we KNOW we are doing what is right at this moment in time.

We will be here when it is SAFE to be here, (aiming to reopen March 30th, 2020), and we will be sure to contact each and every one of you when we are ready to open.

*At this time, we are offering a physiotherapy triage service for the following:

a) Individual in-home physiotherapy assessments and follow-ups

b) Telehealth physiotherapy for both assessments and follow-ups

c) Virtual exercise progression and home exercise planning for preventative, restorative or post-operative physiotherapy.

If you would like to participate in this service, or if you have ANY questions at all, please e-mail us at georgiansmpt@outlook.com for any physiotherapy related questions or concerns.

** A special statement from Dr. Jones' Office **

All services will be continued via virtual methods as per the Ontario Medical Association.

You will be contacted by her office directly for instructions regarding assessment or follow-up. Please do not visit the clinic during this time unless instructed to do so.

Thank you and stay safe.

From the bottom of our hearts,

The Georgian Sport Medicine and Physiotherapy Team
